A Father’s Work

Since the very first day I learned I would become a dad, I felt I had something to prove. Where my father dropped the ball I wanted to pick it up and carry it forward. Where he failed, I intended to succeed.  The problem is, I had to learn why he failed, then I had to figure out how not to make the same mistakes.
