I love being a father.  Truth be told, it’s been a life-long passion of mine, because I’ve always been fascinated with the dynamics of legacy and the role that strong father figures can play in a child’s life.  However dad is just the second most important title that I bear.  The first is husband to a brilliant leading lady in my life named Samantha Wakefield.  We met as freshmen in undergraduate school and we’ve been journeying together ever since.  I love that our story is unorthodox given our generation: married right after college, now married for 12 going on 13 years with three girls and counting.
