I feel like in some ways, I’m having to re-parent myself as an adult because of the what I didn’t learn growing up. That’s not necessarily a bad thing.

The education dad
I guess only a dad who used to be a teacher would drag his daughters to visit a school in the middle of their summer break. I’m proud to be that dad. #theeducationdad
What’s saving my life this summer
I believe life gives you what you need when you need it. Right now, given my alternating state of brooding and contemplation, what’s saving my life are the moments of levity we’ve experienced as a family. And I’m so thankful for it.
