My daughters are coming into their own, and as their parents we have the joy of witnessing their growth at each stage.

I want my daughters to know that it’s ok to take your shot, and regardless how things work out, either way you grow.

I love how life gives us multiple opportunities to learn the same lesson until we get it.

I’m convinced as a father and an educator that the best gift we can provide our young people is the ability to be present with our dreams.

It’s much simpler when we remember that usually we can only lead others as far as we have gone ourselves. Transformed people, transform people right?

We never know how things are going to turn out, The best we can do is consciously put one foot in front of the other, with hope, intention, and presence.  

My thirteen year old daughter planned a trip to a museum that we’re still talking about and feeling its impact. And this gives me hope.

Finding flow might be elusive, but it doesn’t have to be impossible.
